Michael Haynes

Michael Haynes joined Clanmil Ireland as its Chief Executive in September 2017. He has a wealth of experience from senior executive positions in the Housing Sector in England, with a background of working with organisations to add value whilst demonstrating a flair for developing, strengthening and leading management teams to maximise organisational performance and efficiency. Michael represents Clanmil Ireland at the Irish Council for Social Housing and is a member of the ICSH Tier 3 Working Group.

Michael holds a degree in Housing Studies, an MBA, and an MSc in Housing & Building Surveying. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing.


Elaine Fairley

Elaine is Housing Manager for Clanmil Ireland and has been with the organisation since 2014. Elaine is responsible for overseeing all housing management at Clanmil Ireland, including repairs and maintenance, rents, allocations, Anti Social Behaviour and any other tenancy or property related issue.

Elaine has ten years’ experience in the social housing sector, working in a local authority and a large disability organisation before joining Clanmil Ireland in 2014.

Elaine has a BA in Sociology and Social Policy from Trinity College Dublin. She also holds a Certificate in Housing Management and is a member of the Irish Council for Social Housing’s Housing Management and Special Needs Group.


Denise Doorly

Denise has extensive experience in the Construction Industry, acquired over 18 years working as an Architect in private practice both in Ireland and the US prior to joining Clanmil Ireland in 2015. As Development Officer she plays a key role in Clanmil, with responsibility for delivering the annual development programme, whilst ensuring the sustainable growth and development of the Association.

Denise holds a BArch Hons degree in Architecture from University College Dublin, is a member of the Royal Institute of Architects in Ireland, and currently she sits on the Irish Council for Social Housing Development and Supply working group.


Katie Madden

Katie is Housing Officer for Clanmil Ireland and has worked with the organisation for nearly 5 years. She works alongside the Housing Manager on all areas of housing management including repairs and maintenance, rents, allocations and tenancy support.

Katie holds a BA(Hons) and MA from Dublin City University and has completed training with both the Irish Council for Social Housing and the Chartered Institute of Housing in the areas of estates management, repairs and maintenance and Housing Law.

Katie has worked in the not-for-profit sector for over ten years for organisations including Amnesty International, Dublin Simon and Concern.
