David served with Marsh Ireland Ltd (Insurance) for 33 years. He was CEO from 1991 to 2002. Previously he was Deputy CEO. He was Chairman of the Group from 2002 to 2004.

Career History
Kevin has spent his entire career engaged in the provision of contract guarantee bonds to the Irish construction industry. He currently holds the position of Managing Director of Construction Guarantee Underwriters Ltd which acts on behalf of Hiscox plc, a leading UK specialist insurer.

COLM REGAN

Career History
Colm spent most of his career with the Industrial Development Authority (IDA-Ireland) since joining that Government Agency in 1973. He managed a number of divisions responsible for attracting overseas owned Industry and developing Irish owned companies. In 1989-91 he became Advisor to the Taoiseach on the development and implementation of Special Development Projects. In 1994 he was appointed Executive Director of Forfas, which provided policy advice on Enterprise and Science at agency and national level as well as coordinating the activities of IDA Ireland, Enterprise Ireland and Science Foundation Ireland. Since 2003 Colm has provided advice to Irish and Overseas organisations.

Steve Amos has been a Director of the Clanmil Ireland Board of Management since 2014 and is the Chair of the Clanmil Group since January 2014.

His background is in Banking and Finance and he spent most of his career with HSBC Bank.

Career History
John, an MBA graduate of Imperial College London, is a management consultant currently working for Trascent, a consulting firm who specialise in real estate and facilities management services for large multi-nationals. John previously worked as a chartered structural engineer for global engineering firms across Ireland, UK, Spain and the Middle East.

Career History
Paul is responsible for Investment Policy, and non-financial risk at the Central Bank of Ireland, where he also acts as an advisor to the Bank’s pension fund. Prior to this he held numerous senior management positions in the Irish telecommunications and software industry, including Commercial Director and General Manager for Perlico and Vodafone’s broadband business, and Director of Sales & Marketing and Head of Business Management for Eircom.

Gareth has worked in the investment industry for the past 16 years, working in a US investments bank and Irish investment houses. He is currently working as a Senior portfolio manager with Merrion stockbrokers and has been in this role since 2014.

Joy Scott

Career History
Joy is a retired solicitor with more than 30 years’ experience in both the public sector and private practice. She is a former partner of Cleaver Fulton Rankin Solicitors.

She has specialised in property law (including mortgage finance and banking issues) and law relating also to private clients and charities.

During this time she has served as a board member of several charities and lectured on charity law and other issues. She has worked also as a part time tutor at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies.

Conor Fahy
Conor Fahy

Career History
Conor Fahy is Regional Director within Enterprise Ireland and he currently leads the operations of the agency in Russia, CIS, Central Europe and Latin America. The role aims to bolster the opportunities for Irish companies within this region, this includes Moscow, Prague, Budapest , Warsaw and Sao Paulo offices.

He has over 30 year’s international business development experience both in the private sector and with Enterprise Ireland.

Conor has also led the operations of Enterprise Ireland in a number of international markets, including assignments in Scandinavia, East Asia and the operations in Hungary, and Italy and most recently as Regional Director Southern Europe, Africa and the Middle East based in Milan.

Conor has also served as a Board member on a number of regional development agencies and has represented Enterprise Ireland’s interests in Northern Ireland.

Qualifications

  • Conor has an MBA and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree.
